Talk About You is about what lingers after someone is no longer part of your life. I wrote this from that strange place where you’ve moved forward, but certain memories still find their way back. Sometimes you miss the person, sometimes you miss who you were with them, and sometimes you simply miss having someone to talk about. The track turns that feeling into something melodic and danceable — emotional without becoming heavy, nostalgic without getting stuck in the past. For me, Talk About You is about carrying a little piece of someone with you, even when the relationship itself is over. Some people leave your life. Somehow, you still end up talking about them.
