Lemonade

Sweetness, Love & The Fear Of Losing You

Lemonade plays with the contrast between sweetness and vulnerability. At its heart is a simple, almost playful phrase — “lemonade, a box of sugar” — that gradually reveals something more emotional: I won’t change if I won’t lose her. For me, the track captures that complicated space where love, attachment and compromise meet. Sometimes we hold onto someone so tightly that we start questioning how much of ourselves we’re willing to change to keep them. The repetition becomes almost hypnotic, turning a simple phrase into a reflection on love, fear and the things we do when someone really matters to us. Wrapped in a dance-driven electronic groove, Lemonade is sweet on the surface, but there’s something bittersweet underneath.
